Gosh!! Wouldn't it be wonderful if English was actually spelled phonetically? You can hardly blame some of these kids for spelling these words the way they did! On the other hand, for some of them, I just thought, "What???"
For example:
Americans-- "amirkens" "amarasons" "amarasans" "amercans"
certain-- "sertain" "sertin" "serten" "sertien" "crtan" "certan" "surten" "certent"
built-- "bulit" "bilte" "bilt" "bult" "bledt" "bildt"
first-- "frist" "ferst"
animal-- "anamal" "anaml" "animale" "anamle" "anamil" "andmes" "anainll"
front-- "frunt" "frount" "forant"
always-- "allwayas" "alwas" "allwes" "awals"
together-- "toeter" "toghter"
several-- "sevrial" "sevral" "seval" "sevale"
I think I take for granted the fact that spelling is easy for me :)

LOL, i love reading little kids' writing, it's always so funny.
Hmmm....it also reminds me of some sixth grade writing as well.
