Bummer Time

Yesterday's post was a bummer. Sorry to the people who actually read that! You just gotta wallow sometimes, right?

Anyway, wallowing over. Today it felt good when one of my admins told me I was a "star." I AM LIKE A STAR SHINING BRIGHTLY...sorry, Primary ADHD moment over. It did feel good. It also helped when one of the admins said something that I always say about state testing results, "Just because they don't pass their 3rd grade state test doesn't mean they won't be successful adults." THANK YOU! I feel the exact.same.way, which is why I don't cry over the results. I am just so glad these tests are over so we can go back to being normal people again (yes, even 9 year olds act NOT NORMAL during testing time, it throws off our routines, they fall asleep on their desks in the afternoons, honestly, some get a little punch drunk from tests!) It's still hard to believe there are only about 25 days with students left in the year. This change in jobs has been such a blessing, considering everything else in the life of the Thomasons has been completely overwhelming!

Over and out, blog!

What are the chances?

I don't know how it happens, but it does. Every month, on the exact day I find out I'm not pregnant again, I find out someone else is. The exact day, every month. And sometimes, it's several people (today it was two). My emotions are already a crazy mess on this particular day.

Instead of being pregnant, today I got to schedule an x-ray that preludes my surgery in June. Hooray.

Snapshots from PA

I am a lame blogger, but I just wanted to post a few quick pics from my spring break PA trip. It was all wonderful, but the best part is probably my FREAKING ADORABLE nephews. Oozing with cuteness, and bless my teacher heart, they are SMART!
