Looks like it will be Columbus OH this summer, NOT Indianapolis...turns out Columbus is only 6 hours from my parents, which beats 36, right?

Jess' Baby Shower

And while I'm on a picture roll, here are a few from Jess' baby shower this weekend...we had fun, ate lots of food, and baby Ari is going to be the best-dressed little baby out there! I also got to meet my second-cousin Jax, who is adorable! It was nice to see some of our Idaho family, and I hope that I don't have to host another party for a while (those things are tiring!)

Lackluster

I have been such a lackluster poster lately! Life has been busy, and so fun!

in other news...so my husband COLLAPSED this morning! Sitting up fast, combined with cough medicine with codeine makes for a perfect combination to pass out! Yikes! don't worry, he's fine, but it did scare me half to death. when you've never fainted yourself, it's quite a shock to see it happen to your hubby! He will be mortified I put this on my blog, but it is my journal now, right?

The weather is getting so nice, I can't wait for it to be sunny and warm. I love the time of year when you can finally put away the winter coat...although I have developed an unhealthy addiction to skiing! We recently skiied Bogus Basin and it was beautiful! I am getting to the point where I can ski without biffing it a thousand times, and so it has actually become fun...too bad the season is almost over!

I am so enjoying the third grade class I am interning in. It is actually FUN teaching perimeter and the difference between a fairy tale and folktale. I am so grateful to be at the school I'm at, because being artsy is absolutely acceptable and welcomed! I love tying in art and drama to whatever we are studying, I feel like I'm actually using my first degree!

Anyway, this is all I can muster up for now. My hubby is in Michigan, which is almost good because I have so much stuff to get done this week and it so hard when he is around! We are definitely STILL in honeymoon stage (crazy right?) and so the only things that get accomplished when we are together are errands, eating, or cuddling :)

Does anyone have any good ideas for blog posts, like tags or anything? I need some inspiration :)
