The View From Up Here

This is the view from our window, looking out at the Sao Paulo temple. Pretty awesome, right?

 Our living room.
Our kitchen. Notice our oven, which the senior missionaries refer to as "easy-bake ovens" because they are really small and quite temperamental. We have to plug it in and turn on the gas to use it, then hit the ignition switch a few times to get the gas to come on...once it does, we're good :)
The view from one direction of our apartment during the day...just lots and lots of tall buildings and residential homes, interspersed with small shops.
A little birdie in the tree..the birds here are so much more interesting. There are these green parrots that hang outside the tree that I've tried to get pictures of, but the really loud annoying dog (sorry, dog lovers) upstairs scares them away usually.
Our view in the other direction...the Sao Paulo temple doesn't stand out quite so much during the day!

Nice digs! The outside pictures look like what I had imagined, but for whatever reason, I thought your apt. would be a little more... er... humble. super jealous! I'm glad you guys are having so much fun--and that you're sending out so many updates!
