Today when we came back in from recess, one of the kids said, "Mrs. T, I like your hair, it looks good!" I said, "Oh, thanks, it was so windy outside I had to put it up!" (It wasn't anything special, it probably looked more crazy than usual, darn Kansas wind!)
Then one of my "cool" boys said, "Yeah, Mrs. T, I saw you doing your hair." He preceded to do a perfect imitation of me flipping my head upside down, putting it up in a messy ponytail, and standing back upright again.
It was so dead on, and so funny. I always giggle at what kids notice. The other day it was, "Mrs. T, you have BLUE eyes!" Yep, dear, and I've had them all year!
Only six more weeks!
